A platformer where every level lies

Level Demon is a free rage platformer you play in your browser. Every room looks simple: run to the door. Then the floor drops, spikes pop out of nowhere and the door runs away. You are Short Fuse, a matchstick with a short temper, in hand-made levels of three rooms each. Every death teaches you one lie. Your progress is saved in this browser, and the game speaks ten languages.

Controls

• On a keyboard, move with the arrow keys or A and D. Jump with Space, Up or W. R restarts the room, Esc or P pauses.
• On a touch screen, two arrow buttons on the left move you and the button on the right jumps. Settings, Controls lets you move, resize or fade each button. Turn your phone sideways for the biggest view.

The daily demon

A new troll level drops every night at 22:00 Paris time. Everyone gets the same three rooms, and the game shows how your death count compares with other players. Missed one? Past demons stay playable in the archive. Play today's daily demon.
